Movie Story: This shocking, post-apocalyptic action thriller by director George Miller stars Mel Gibson as Max Rakatanski, who is tired of a job coming up. After the utmost protection, the long, desolate slopes of the highway have become a beautiful battleground in Australian Outback. Max has seen many innocent and fellow officers killed by brutal bombings, brutally beaten bicyclists, which is the way to lead a murder, rape and robbery. He just wants to retire and spend time with his wife and son, but lets his boss talk to him for a break and he starts to rethink. Then his world was shattered when a gang led by the evil Tokutr (Hug Keys-Byrne) murdered his family to avenge the death of one of his members. Dying inside, Max is strapped to his helmet and climbs into a Soup-Up V8 racing machine to avenge his blood. Despite a plot that is clearly low budget and reminiscent of many spaghetti westerns, Mad Max is thrilling, thanks to the most spectacular road stunts found in the film. Cinematographer David Eggby and stunt coordinator Grant Page did some of their best work under Miller's direction and created an exciting, exciting thriller that featured two sequels, several copyrights, and Mel Gibsari anchor. A sequence in which a man is strapped into a car and must be amputated before the machine breaks down, which is the most stressful scenario of the decade. The American version dubbed all the voices - including Gibson - in a particularly cartoonish way. Trivia Fishes should note that Max's car is a 1973 Ford Falcon GT Coupe with a 300 bhp 351 CV8 engine, which is compatible with the front end of a Ford Fairmont and other modifications.
