Movie Story: The title itself depicts the relationship between Wall Street shark Mikey Ruckke and the divorced art gallery owner Kim Besinger. Kim is looking for true love, while Mikey is looking for ... what does Gosh know. His love-making ideas include eye-catching items, icebergs buzz, chocolate syrup, and roaming around spent peanut shells. When the allotted 9 1/2 weeks are over, Kim finally realizes that Rourke is using her. We can tell him in twenty minutes of the movie. A definite job in the Mikey Rourke Overture, 9 1/2 weeks is terrific, and will probably have to endure as a camp classic for the next hundred years. The film is available in both R-rated and unrated versions; Either way, it's a hoot.
