Movie story: Bill Paxson, Helen Hunt and Carrie Elvis may be billed as the stars of Twister, but the real attraction of the film is the whirlwind. The best-experienced, nail-biting, computer-generated graphics, cutting-edge sound and other special effects in the theater are designed to take viewers straight to the edge of a massive storm. To focus on special effects and actions, the story is simple and the characters are deeply drawn to the broad strokes. Joe Harding (Hunt) became the pursuit of a storm (a meteorologist who scientifically studies and photographs barbarians in the field) when a big girl sucks his stupid daddy. That was it. Bill (Paxon) was also a storm chaser, but left to have a successful season.
